Pottery is an old and ancient art. As soon as humanity realized that clay could be dug from the earth, formed into objects, and then hardened through firing, an entire industry was born. And an old industry it is, indeed. Before Skutt kilns were a glimmer in their creator’s eye, pottery was starting to make its stamp on the world.
