What child safety hazards are parents missing? Many parents fail to anchor furniture and large appliances, resulting in infant and toddler injuries — and sometimes even death. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that, between the years 2000 and 2011, falling or toppling furniture claimed the lives of 349 Americans.
